Dilyana Hristova is a writer and a poet who published her first poetry collection, Black Words, in the summer of 2015. In the same month – July, a philosophical work of hers, The Spirit of Revolt, was published in the Scottish journal The Grind. She recognizes one main motive for writing and that is to escape from immaturity and ignorance. Writing drives forward. Dilyana is also a freelance writer, focusing on topics connected to music, cinema and literature; she also likes the soothing effect of playing guitar and watching obscure movies and TV series. Currently, she is a Philosophy student at the University of Glasgow.
